The Tunguska Event

Did you know that In 1908, a massive explosion, estimated at 15 megatons, flattened over 2,000 square kilometers of forest in a remote region of Siberia?

The most accepted cause was the mid-air explosion of a meteoroid or comet between 50 and 100 meters in diameter. Fortunately, due to the remoteness of the area, no confirmed human casualties were recorded.
